The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) formerly known as the Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (MEDF) would like to inform the general public and its clients that it will resume disbursement of loans on Tuesday,6th October, 2020.
The general public is further informed that all Malawians will be eligible to access these loans by following the under listed structured loan disbursement process:
- Recruitment of clients by NEEF staff through local leaders.
- Training of the groups on Group Dynamics,Business Management Skills, Loan Repayment and Savings Culture by NEEF staff.
- Loan application in which the groups and individuals will now access the new and re-designed loan application forms after undergoing training.
We have a network of branches in the following districts from which the public can access these loans: Blantyre Branch in Namiwawa off Sanjika Road, Chikwawa Branch near FDH opposite Police, Luchenza Branch in Upstair Lodge Building, Phalombe Branch at the Boma opposite DHO; Zomba Branch in FDH Bank Building; Liwonde Branch in Makengere Plaza near National Bank; Mangochi Branch at Old Water offices; Ntcheu Branch opposite Small Holder Fertilizer Revolving Fund, Lilongwe Branch opposite Bridge View Hotel, Mchinji Branch next to PVHO, Mponela Branch in Super Sink Complex, Kasungu Branch next to Standard Bank, Mzimba Branch in DC offices, Mzuzu Branch next to Kips, Rumphi Branch in DC offices, Nkhatabay Branch in Fisheries Building, Karonga Branch near MBC Transmitter, and Chitipa Branch in DC offices.
All enterprising individual youths and women should also visit these branches or talk to NEEF loan officers in their areas to discuss the bankability of their business ideas for possible funding so that they can stick to their ingenuity and develop their lives in line with Government agenda.
All clients that got loans should continue repaying the loans through the FDH Bank Accounts that were provided to them.
The General Public is further warned not to pay anyone in order to access the NEEF loan application forms as they are for free and stay away from the old forms as Government has redesigned the loan application forms. Besides, the loan applications forms are accessible from NEEF only if the groups and individuals have undergone stage 1 and 2 of the loan process i.e. recruitment and training and not the other way round.
