The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) on Friday signed a loan memorandum of Agreement with TNM Plc that will enable youth and women access loans from NEEF and start TNM franchise business in the country.
The event which took place at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe was patronized by President Lazarus Chakwera who used the event to launch the Presidential Initiative on Job Creation.
President Chakwera said he is happy with the strides the two institutions have taken to partner in creating jobs for the youth.
Speaking at the event, NEEF Board Chairperson Jephta Mtema said the MoU
will go a long way towards enhancing access to micro financial services by the ordinary and underserved Malawians for increased job creation and ultimately improved livelihoods of those Malawians.
TNM Chief Executive Officer Arnold Mbwana reaffirmed his company’s commitment to provide technologies that aid the creation of jobs and betterment of people’s lives.
